Sitech Services BV, on behalf of DSM NV, is the owner of the industrial complex Chemelot, located in the south of the Netherlands near the city of Maastricht. With its size of approximately 900 ha., Chemelot is the largest industrial park in the Netherlands. From January 2006 the activities for Park Management were outsourced to DHV for a period of at least 4 years. In 2010 the term of the contract was extended for another 4 years.
Assignment
DHV is asset manager for all the infrastructure and facilities, outside the battery limits of the various chemical process plants in the park. DHV is responsible for maintaining the appropriate levels of maintenance and availability of the facilities, in such a manner that the chemical factories have ensured levels of service for profitable operations and production.
