As of 1 April 2010, Rik Krabbendam has been appointed as managing director of NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants B.V., member of the DHV Group.
Rik is an experienced professional and manager in the area of transportation. Over the years, he has been successfully involved from start to end in various international infrastructure projects varying in size. This included all areas from strategic planning, feasibility studies and financing to design and realization. As a manager with vision and authority, Rik can quickly gain insight into complex processes and projects and is able to exercise control.
Joining DHV in 1990 as project manager, Rik has been involved in rail and infrastructure projects in the Netherlands, India and South Africa. In 2003 Krabbendam transferred to NACO, where he worked on design studies for Beijing Capital International Airport en Cairo International Airport. From 2005 until 2007 he worked as Country Manager in Egypt and from 2007 until 2010 as the director of NACO’s Engineering and Planning department.
