Person Details

Jeroen Alberts is water management expert in projects in Asia and the Netherlands. He advises governmental agencies, Dutch waterboards and drinking water companies in projects covering water and sanitation, environmental management, flood risk management, ground water management and urban drainage. The effects of climate change are a crucial element in the development of these projects.

After the tsunami of 2004, Jeroen was intensively involved in the international rehabilitation program for Aceh and Nias in Indonesia. He worked on large infrastructure projects related to urban drainage, coastal defense and the establishment of a Tsunami Early Warning System.
