DHV maintains its leading-group position in 2009 Transparency Benchmark

20 January 2010 - DHV placed 16th in the ranking for corporate social responsibility reporting by Dutch companies.

We thus maintain our position in the leading group of companies and are moreover the highest ranked service provider in this 2009 Transparency Benchmark.

The benchmark was announced on 18 January by Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade Heemskerk. “You have to pursue CSR and you have to report on it,” said Heemskerk. “A good corporate responsibility report is not an objective in itself: what is important is that companies not only communicate what they do, but also how they do it.” This year’s winner, Rabobank, was selected from a group of 183 companies and institutions—nine more than the previous year.
The most important CSR themes upon which the reporting is assessed are:
  • The economic aspects of business operations
  • The environmental aspects of business operations
  • The social aspects of business operations
  • Chain responsibility
DHV scored 67 points in this assessment.
