New Orleans; Hyperflexible and high-heeled
The climbing formwork of Holland’s highest apartment building New Orleans is slowly creeping to its top. At the Rijnhaven’s quay, the construction workers are busy finishing this high-rise building and her neighbouring Arthouse. Only 14 Histar columns and a slender concrete core are carrying the tower, and provide it stability. It’s the first Dutch building where high strength steel rolled sections are used.
