(Re)construction of the second Coen Tunnel and A10 Motorway – Westrandweg

The Coen Tunnel is part of the A10 Motorway on the west side of Amsterdam and is one of the most heavily congested traffic zones in the Netherlands. The A10 west bound is a major transport corridor towards the harbor area of Amsterdam. This section is approximately 12 km and includes 4 km of approach and access roads. The cross section of this existing motorway comprises of 2x3 lanes, including two emergency lanes.Read more

Design & Build Contract Highway A2 North

The A2 highway is one of the oldest, busiest and most important highways in the Netherlands. The 212 km highway connects Amsterdam to the southern city of Maastricht, and is therefore a vital arterial road. Consequently, the national highway often develops traffic-jams. It is estimated that traffic on the A2 will increase 47% between 2000 and 2020. DHV helped to realize various improvement measures from 2005 to 2009.

Capability extension motorway A15 Maasvlakte-Vaanplein Rotterdam

The A15 Maasvlakte – Vaanplein contract entails approximately 40 kilometers of the major existing highway serving the Port of Rotterdam. Project activities include extending the highway from 3 to 5 lanes and the construction of a major new bridge. The importance of the A15 transport corridor’s location just south of Rotterdam will increase further when the extension of the Port of Rotterdam is completed. Read more
