DHV’s architecture resource encompasses functionality, logistics, and engineering. Important guiding principles are a tangible functionality, a clear building structure, composition and balance, unpretentious and ingenious, with much attention devoted to daylight, space and the central position of people.
Multidisciplinary and Sustainable
In our projects, our objective is to design demonstrably better buildings on the basis of the superior knowledge available at DHV. The buildings must be demonstrably better in aspects such as:
- comfort of the occupants
- health and safety
- flexibility
- energy consumption
- use of land and materials
- maintenance / cleaning
In addition to office and university buildings, we undertake complex and high-quality non-residential buildings such as research facilities, industrial complexes, power plants, laboratories, and health care facilities.
