Capability extension motorway A15 Maasvlakte-Vaanplein Rotterdam

The A15 Maasvlakte – Vaanplein contract entails approximately 40 kilometers of the major existing highway serving the Port of Rotterdam. Project activities include extending the highway from 3 to 5 lanes and the construction of a major new bridge. The importance of the A15 transport corridor’s location just south of Rotterdam will increase further when the extension of the Port of Rotterdam is completed.Read more

Support point for Noise, Soil, Air quality and Climate (GBLK)

DHV supports the Department of Traffic and Shipping (DVS) in the fields of noise, air quality, soil and climate. The purpose is to reach high quality and a short run-time for infrastructural projects. Special to this framework contract “Support point GBLK” is the cooperation with the Directorate General of Public Works and Water Management: consultants of  DHV and DVS make one team. Read more

The road traffic sign database forms part of the overall European project Rosatte. The aim of the project is the enhancement of road safety by encouraging the smooth flow of data on road traffic signs between governments and producers of maps, like Tele Atlas and Navteq. The Flemish Region, as the logistical heart of Europe, serves as a pioneer. Most countries take stock of merely part of the road traffic signs. Flanders is the only region where in one project all road traffic signs are recorded. Read more
